Small Dent Repair

Small dents are any round dents that are 1 to 2 inches in diameter and not on a body line. Often referred to as a door ding. The only thing that can make these dents go up in severity is the depth and location. A typical ding that is considered deep is .76mm or deeper. This can add to the cost as the need for heat induction to the panel may be required. A medium to shallow dent of this size typically cost between $175-$310.

Medium Dent Repair

Medium dents are any round or creased dent that is between 3 to 5 inches in diameter. A repair on a dent of this size requires a lot more skill and time than a door ding. Depth can really change the cost of the repair. Location and R&I will also play a roll in cost. Shallow to medium dents of this size typically cost from $325-$550.

Large Dent Repair

Large dent repairs really separate the men from the boys. The complexity of a dent this size is immense. Typically ranging from 6 to 15 inches in diameter. These often times come with a high crown or two as well. A crown is where the metal above or below the impact point (Especially on body lines) is moved from its original position which creates a high line within the panel. We often use tension methods in order to relieve the stress of the crown while knocking down the crown simultaneously. Slowly and methodically restoring the panel to it's original shape. These repairs typically cost between $600-$1500.

Extra Large Dent Repair

Extra large dents are from 15 inches and up to full collision damage across the entire panel. This kind of damage is assessed on a case to case basis. In most instances the panel does need conventional methods. Especially when the panel has paint damage. However, in some cases we can repair the damaged panel and save the car from the body shop. This type of damage often includes many lows, high crowns, and edge of panel damages. This is an attempt to save the car from being repainted and is for the type of person who truly wants to preserve the original body of the vehicle. A body shop estimate may actually be less than a PDR estimate on damage of this magnitude. The cost of this type of damage is $1,500 and up.

Hail Damage Repair

Hail damage is a whole different ordeal. Vehicles damaged by hail are all differently priced. We use an estimate matrix to determine the overall cost of repairs. Cost is dependent on the number of dents on each panel, as well as the size of each dent, and the type of metal of each panel. We will deal directly with your insurance company and handle the entire process start to finish. When we are through repairing your vehicle, it will look as though there was never any hail damage. Leaving you with a beautiful factory finish. The price of hail damage can range from $500 to $10,000.
